There is a fantastic library called yfinance that will fetch any stock price you need from yahoo finance.

Install yfinance

pip3 install yfinance

Download any stock prices

# We import the library
import yfinance

# We fetch AAPL stock prices for a one year period
df = yfinance.download(["AAPL"], period='1y')

# We then save it as excel file
df.to_excel("apple_prices.xlsx")
